How does a person get on a rehab makeover for free ?
I am 69, with health issues. My significiant other passed in May 2016. We did alternitive housing. Two tracker/trailer boxes, 8X53 and one smaller for closet. Many things are failing. Smaller box has separated from large. Leaks, mold in closet, bedroom. We wanted to get back to nature. So it is on 15 acreas. I can't keep up with the repairs, and the bank account is empty. Any help available, I would appreciate it.

You have to apply to the shows. Go to their website and find out how to submit your home. Most want a video, so hopefully you have someone to help you out with that.
I would suggest you apply for a USDA grant or low cost loan for home repairs. Then in our area, Habitat for Humanity does the repairs. https://www.rd.usda.gov/programs-services/single-family-housing-repair-loans-grants Use the box in upper right corner to pick your state.
The Area on Aging also assist elderly with home repairs.
HUD has home repair grants under Rebuilding Together program
If your disabled, check with your case worker at Senior & Disabled Services.
You don't get a television rehab/makeover for free. You have to put in a certain amount of money to be considered for most of the shows.
Shirley, I'm sorry you're having such a difficult time. Each city has an ombudsman for aging. I don't know where you are located, but here in Las Vegas they do. That is a good place to start. Have you thought about Habitat for Humanity? Give it a start there and give us some more info. so we can help.
