Hi Jan. I'm not sure what you're working on, but paint drips are best dealt with while they are still wet. If the have dried, you can sand them off and reapply another coat of paint.

You could try sanding or a paint stripper chemical if the paint is on wood.
I would sand them.
Try freezing the drips with ice then us a very flat bladed metal spatula get chip pry or scrape them off. Hope this helps.
A good, high powered sander will take it off in seconds. Get a dewalt. It has a dust collection bag that minimizes the mess. Use 80 grit sand paper.
