These mini wooden fire crackers will add a fun element to any picnic table this 4th of July!
The first think I did was cut some scrap wood I had laying around the garage. These were 1x1 trim pieces I think. After cutting them in various random sizes, I spray painted them with Rust-Oleum spray paint in red, white and blue.
After the paint dried, I drilled a very small hole into the top of them. I then stuck a small piece of metallic pipe cleaner into the hole making sure not to have the same color pipe cleaner in the same color wood.
The I grouped them into threes. I wrapped some with patriotic washi tape and others with a metallic crafting thread from CraftProjectIdeas.com. These made a great addition to our table scape last year and will continue to do so for many more!
