Hi Margaret,
Here's some tips and tricks for organizing your linens. You can store everything in labeled baskets, or even boxes (cover with pretty paper), color code them on shelves, even roll everything up. Lots of ideas. I don't have that problem because I hardly have any linens

This is what it looks like now, and shelves are deep. I don’t have extra funds to buy special dividers; looking for a a way to organize or make dividers with what I may have around the house: I’m on limited resources. Thx
Sheets: fold top, fitted, and pillowcase(s) together leaving 1 pillow case to hold the other pieces of the set.
Towels: Fold twice lengthwise then once side-to-side. This will allow them to lay fairly flat. Alternate the side fold so they stack easily.
Small items: Get bins and label them.
Below is a picture of my bathroom closet. You can see the bin idea and my towels are folded on the bottom shelf (kids had pulled a towel from the bottom so they are a bit crumpled). I put sheets in each bedroom with 1 on the bed and 1 in a drawer for each bed.

I actually keep the sheets in the bedroom they belong in, in one of the dresser drawers. It frees up space in the linen closet. I also used bins to group together like items that are very inexpensive. Here's a post I wrote about it.
