How to keep bees away from humming bird feeder?
Hello All - This could be a silly question but does anyone happen to have an idea on how to help keep the bees away or detoured from a humming bird feeder? If there is even such a thing. I've not ever had this problem until my recent move to a more "country" like area. I've been able to keep ants away, but no success to with the bee issue. Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated and thank you!

We had the same problem and we purchased the fake wasp nests and hung them a few feet away. It worked instantly and we live in Montana
Well here's a thought - Plant flowers that attract the hummingbirds, like zinnias, lantana and you won't need a feeder. The birds will get their feed from the plants. I had five hummingbirds in my flowers beds at one time and it was so fun to watch.
I've heard that put Vicks on the feeder hole. It doesn't bother the birds
I rub vegetable oil on and around the holes. It doesn't bother the birds but the bees don't like it.
