I just seen on here that a woman took the wooden blinds and use them as a backsplash to her kitchen and her bathrooms. It looks fantastic all she did was cut them to size and then put them on the wall and then painted them.... it look amazing!!!

Board and Batten With Leftover Faux Wood Blinds
TAKE the out of the cords, lay them flat onto a large piece of cardboard. Glue them down & decoupage a pretty picture onto them. Let it dry completely & cut off the excess overhang around the edges & frame them. Using Clear Coat spray paint, spray a coat of sealer on it. Hang them like a pretty picture on the wall for decor. ALSO, you could use them for making a large basket.
Turn it into a backsplash in your kitchen, trivets, turn it into mini ship laps. Turn into a headboard. Frames for pictures.
