Wringer Washer Re-do
by
Jill B
(IC: homeowner)
I took this antique washer and made it into a re-purposed cooler. It took alot of time, but I am super pleased with it. Now to part with it at my vendor booth......(sigh)
voila! Love it. Just need some ice, some drinks and a party!
Before....my doggie is smelling all sorts of gunk and grime that took me two nights to clean off!!!
Cover is a bit rough, but overall not in bad condition. The legs have some rust....
Press and seal is my friend!!!!! Used Rustoleum white and Valspar ruby red.
cleaned up the motor part and put some grey paint on bottom part....not loving it....may change that to black.
Love the sharp contrast. Need to just seal with glossy Rustoleum sealer.
added some graphics......drew on with paint pens.
Enjoyed the project?

Return2Basics24 on Jul 30, 2015Thank you for a response. Much appreciated! That's ok. I still need to remove it, but if/when I do, I'll make a video or a post for anyone else having difficulty removing the auger.
