I think stainless steel is still the best option in terms of durability and ease of cleaning. My sink is about 13 years old and still looks perfect.
I like undermount sinks the best.
Of course it depends on your personal style. I do alot of cakes so I opted for a super deep extra wide single bowl stainless steel sink. I can lay a huge half sheet cake pan in it flat, so it can soak a bit. And the stainless steel is super easy to keep clean.
Depends on your personal style and what goes with the style of the house and kitchen. I detest anything stainless, purely a personal choice. I cook every single day, so I want the largest sink I can find. I am partial to cast iron or porcelain. Your house, your taste. Just like Tere, I need BIG!
