How do I find the best location and temperature for my African Violet?
Is 50 degrees to cold for a African Violet. ? I have in back bedroom it is getting ready to bloom. .it is the perfect window for it. .it is on a table. .was wondering about temperatures. .thanks. .

50 °F is too low. 70° to 80° is optimal, but never below 60°.
The ideal temperature for African violets is from 65 °F to 75 °F. They will not grow to their potential in temperatures below60 degrees but they will survive. A temperature below 50 degrees is fatal.

Betty....They need to be in higher degrees (65 to 75) ..will survive below 60 but may die in 50. I keep mine in north kitchen window.
