Does anyone know what type of tree this is?
This tree grows in southern/central Louisiana. Does anyone know the name of it? I think that you can zoom in on the picture to see it more closely.

Does anyone know what this plant is?
It was my grandfather's favorite flower. We have handed it down through generations. We call it the purple flower plant.
Are you sure it is a tree and not a vine on the tree? Because it doesn't look familiar to me and I grew up in Louisiana. If you go by it again, try the leafsnap app for identification:)
Reminds me of a smoke tree but I don't really know, anything about them.
Mimosa???
It looks like an Alianthis. Crush a leaf in your fingers - if it reeks, its an Allianthis. Also, they grow along railroad tracks and roads.
Agree with Scarlet a photo of a leaf would be helpful.
tulip?
It looks like a golden raintree but picture is blurry when I zoom in. If those tan areas are seed pods I think it is a raintree.
It looks like a mimosa tree. I am in Texas and they grow here or I should say they did grow here. There aren't many left. It should have seed pods growing on it as well as pink blooms. I think.
Looks like Golden Rain Tree has yellow flowers that turn pink. Invasive, not native https://www.ocala.com/article/LK/20131102/News/604147908/OS/
