I would think a miter saw would work.
A miter or compound miter would work best. If you don't have an electric saw there are some amazing deals right now! 😊
Try a chop-saw with the gage you need. Check with the hardware or lumber store, they are usually happy to help.

As Judy said, a mitre saw with a 12" blade can cut a 4x4 in one pass. The other method is to use a circular saw to make cuts on all four sides after drawing the lines with a speed square. There was a Black Friday deal at Home Depot or Lowe's that will give you a DeWalt compound mitre saw and the stand, but it is on the expensive side and may no longer be available.
