Debbie...The bore houses are popular especially if someone's home is being eaten up by them. Bird bird, butterfly, squirrel feeders with large nail for corn can be made easily, Small vases with the artificial water and pretty artificial flowers are also easy to make. Cookie dough (safe for birds) covered with peanut butter then rolled in bird seed is another easy and cut item. You can also add hangers and ribbon to oranges and apples to hang. Hope this gives you a few ideas.
Go to Goodwill and buy a bunch of teacups & or shot glasses and plant single succulents in them. for the teacups attach them to plates with E6000 adhesive or you don't even need the saucers. these little planters are great if some one doesn't have much room for plants(window sill, computer desk at work, night stand)
if your area has pine cones, collect some in various sizes and using a 1/2 solution of CLOROX and WATER, weigh the cones down in the bucket ( a couple ++ 5 gallon buckets works fine ) with a plate/brick, etc., and leave for at least a week .... pull one/two out and allow to dry ( they will close up in the water/clorox ) so they will open up -- if not as light as you want, make new solution and repeat.
you can decorate -- ribbon, glitter glue, 'snow' and make ornaments or add a floral pick so they can be inserted into planters or wreaths.
What to do:
I made this wooden suncatcher, you could make this on a smaller scale. It was just rough wood with holes cut in and filled with resin.
