Wood purist is one term.

I would say old school! I, too like wood stained and not painted. I have one of my moms chest of drawers she painted black for her craft room to store things in. It is the only painted piece of wood furniture I own that is painted.

Not sure if there is a term "per se". Just you know what you love and appreciate in a piece of wood furniture and have a firm conviction in the appreciation of natural grain and the expression of it. Paint takes that away.
