You must replace the bonded leather. Take it to a furniture upholsyery store unless you know how to upholster with leather. It is not an easy task. I recovered my mom's footstool and my hands ached!
Unfortunately, the cost of re-upholstering a bonded leather (not genuine leather) sofa would likely be more than purchasing a brand new one.
It would not be worth fixing, better to recover or buy loose covers for it.
