How can I cover my concrete walls?

Look into Kilz paint. Will make a world of difference. You need a pretty laundry space to make doing laundry easier. 🌞

You could just paint the wall or put up paneling. They make many different patterns and colors to choose from now. I saw a beautiful white washed barn wood paneling.

I was just looking at paneling at Lowes. That might be a good option for you. It comes in several choices, was fairly reasonable and they will cut it to size for you. (most of the reviews are really good and most say it cuts easy). I would think that there are adhesives that could glue it to what ever your walls are made of. As far as the pipes go. I would just paint the ones that you can (some pipes are not to be painted) and tack up the wires as neatly as possible. Just look around and I'm sure you'll find something. If not the paneling, painting everything white always helps and then maybe a cool stencil to brighten the laundry area, maybe a laundry theme.... signs, shelves etc. I've seen big pipes, like sewer pipes hidden with curtains .Good Luck....

You can do a fake wall in front of the walls. I hung pretty shower curtains up in front of mine to cover the mess of pipes and wires in my laundry room.

You can always use the plastic wall sheets that are made for bathroom walls, or the vinyl walls sheets used for greenhouses or patio roofs. Ther are easily cut with a jigsaw or similar saw, and can be painted easily. You could even paint part of it in chalkboard paint, or a rainbow, or stripes. When you are ready to do something more permanent, the vinyl is easy to remove. Best wishes! ☺️

You cannot apply wood directly to your concrete walls. As dry as you think your basement might be, moisture seeping through your walls will ruin the paneling. You would at a minimum, have to build a stud wall away from the concrete wall that you would attach the ship lap to. Unless you are looking to really fully finish the walls and insulate, just paint them.
