You can install racks with a screw driver but it takes a bit of muscle. You can start the hole by tapping into the wood with a hammer. Get a ratcheting screw driver to make it easier. If you are going to be doing a lot of them I would bite the bullet and purchase a drill, the ones with a cord are very inexpensive.
Before we got our drill we used a small nail tapped into the wood. Then put your screw into the tiny nail hole and put those muscles to work. It isn't as fast and a little harder but you can do it.
This link looks pretty simple and no tools required. Also no holes in your cabinets. Hope this helps.

Hi Susan, I use a dish strainer. They hold lots of lids. They also make a rack that hangs on the inside of a cupboard door: Here's a link to one they have at Lakeside collections, but you can probably get one at Walmart:

Good luck!
Do what Mogie suggested works great
I also agree with Mogie's suggestion. I also agree with Kathy, bite the bullet and get a drill. They really do come in handy, the corded ones are no longer real expensive. Don't get the cheapest, as usual you get what you pay for, go for a good name and one that will have enough power to do the things that you will use it for. Many come with the drill bits and you can also get bits for using it as a screw driver if they don't come with it. If you go to a home improvement store, they will be able to help select one that is good for you and make sure you have the bits you will need and will also help you understand how to use it. The rechargeable drills are a lot heavier and can be more cumbersome to work with and are usually more expensive.
