It's easy to wallpaper a wall temporarily! Great for apartments! When you tire of it or it's time to move, it's removable!
The finished wall.
I started with inexpensive two mid-century vacation home plan books. The possibilities are truly endless though -- sheet music, maps, books, catalogues, postcards, photos, pretty artistic paper, the list goes on and on!
After carefully cutting apart the books, I separated the pages based on color or black and white, and black, white and blue.
After mixing up the "glue" of cornstarch and water, the details of which can be found on my blog (link below), I began putting the pages on the wall. It was surprisingly easy. I intermixed the pages to create variety.
If you're a perfectionist, go slow so that all the pages are level and true. Otherwise, pages a little askew adds some character!
It didn't take long and I had one heck of a fun custom wall for my office!
Please see my blog for all the details and steps to make this a great, easy day project for your home!

Becky at Flipping the Flip on Jul 11, 2014@Nicole My understanding is that it peels right off. Or, if not, I bet you could slightly dampen the pages and they'll fall off the wall easily.
