Is shutting the door not an option?
Why does it need a disguise? Is it a multi purpose room? Or is it on the run from the feds? Sorry, I couldn't resist! 🌞

Suspension curtain rod and neutral-colored curtain?
You can put all your different holiday things on shelving in totes or baskets. Label them as to holiday and contents for easy access. Use Velcro on the outside of the shelving and hang attractive sheets, curtains, fabric, etc. that goes with the décor you want to use in the room. Put higher shelves in the closet and you can store some of the holiday things on the higher shelves if you have room for shelves in the closet, that can take some of the containers out of the actual room. Perhaps these suggestions will help you a little, Mary!
It has see thru bins to hold and separate all the different holiday decorations.
