What kind of cactus do I have?
How can I tell what my 3 different cacti are? They just bloom at will. Which one is Easter, which one is Thanksgiving and the other one is a Christmas? But I can't determine which is which. Thanks for your help.

Annette, you forgot to include the picture of your cactus, so I can't take a look at it. Here is the information I found on blooming cacti. I hope you see the ones you have.

Could you post a picture, Annette? It would be very helpful in identifying them.

It’s a Christmas cactus. They sell them blooming at stores during the holidays. They bloom when the weather goes from warm to cold and there’s less daylight. You can even force them to bloom buy placing them in a dark, cool room. They live for years. Enjoy!
Not that this probably matters to anyone but me... but I have all three potted in the same pot. I like a lot of color and they never fail me, and it is safer to have these around if you have indoor cats as it won't kill them or make them sick. I also have resorted to the silk poinsettias as well. These days almost no one can tell if they are real or not and they won't kill your cat!
