Have a current magazine on top, especially if it is a seasonal issue. If you are trying to impress somebody, buy a copy of Fortune 500, Forbes, Martha Stewart’s magazine, a religious magazine, or whatever furthers your intent. When you get too many magazines, be sure to recycle them at a nursing home or any waiting room that will accept them. Even children’s hospitals may want certain magazines to use for arts and crafts. Even better if the basket is sufficiently deep to permit magazines to be stood up, for easier viewing.
I organize by type of magazine.
I like my magazines standing up so I can easily look through them, with the most recent ones at the front.
