How do I make old rusted metal cabinets look beautiful again?
I moved into an apartment with old metal cabinets in the kitchen.... Its all rusted up. I cant replace it.... Do u have a diy to make it look pretty and useable again.... My sink is connected on top of the cabinets... My sink is the old cast iron... Which i really love... Help please...

You will need to sand off the rust on the cabinets, Ann. A wire brush and steel wool will help. Once the rust is removed, paint them with Rustoleum paint. Lucky you to have that old sink! Here's a link with more details:

My husband got me some used ones and he painted them with Rustoleum spray paint. It is great for metal cabinets with cosmetic rust on them.

remove rust as suggested above. You can cover with contact paper if you don’t want to paint.
If the rust isn’t bad you could seal with a clear sealer for a vintage look that will stop the progression.
Clean, sand the rough spots and use a RUSTOLEUM product for metal --- but check with the landlord first ... be sure to get in WRITING what he/ she will allow you to do, and if he/she will take any off your rent ...
