I see nobody dove into this cord wrapped pool. Not everybody, but Hometalkers like me have secret or excessive stashes of fabric, vases, all sorts of craft supplies, just waiting on us to be inspired and be able to use that one specific rolling pin as an apron rack.
However, on Dec. 26, 2018, a Hometalker posted her renovation titled “The Great Reveal: My DIY Room”. You’ll find lots of ideas in that article. Best wishes! I’m still working on mine.
Hi Rogea, as a DIYer myself, I follow my mom's advice and tackle one project at a time. I pull out what I need for the project, and then clean up as I go along. This helps keep everything organized and prevents me from starting ten projects and feeling scattered. A designated work space is also nice if you have the room. Good luck!
You've received some good advice. I'd also recommend keeping a journal on your projects. Write down what worked, what didn't, and what you'd like to try next time. I also keep a running list of the projects I want to do, what I need for them, and what I have. This will help keep your projects and ideas organized, and it'll help you replicate any cool projects you might want to take on again.
Mise en place. Method works for everything in life. Since I don't have much room, it forces me to be neat and tidy and only work on a few projects at a time. Keep your craft items in a tidy common sense fashion and don't start several projects until you complete the ones you already have. List your future or potential projects, along the supplies you already may have on hand and items you still may need to source. Don't start a project unless you have all the bits and pieces together.
