Karen...Are you looking for furniture placement and/or wall ideas? Can you send a picture and maybe we can get some ideas. Thanks
Hi Karen,
Can you share a picture so we can make some good suggestions?
I like to browse photos for inspiration. Small rooms need light and lighter color. Mirrors make it appear larger.
Make sure you choose smaller size furniture pieces. Otherwise, bulky furniture will make the space look and BE smaller, limits pathways around.
Glass topped tables make your space appear larger.
Avoid "skirting" on sofas and chairs.
Use lighter fabric colors and carpet/flooring. Mixing in light colored furniture will
" lighten" rooms' appearance.
Use satin finish paints on ceilings to bounce light.
Mount a mirror, perpendicular to window wall.
Install bright LED lighting on dimmer switches.
Glass objects, glass fronted bookcases, light colored porcelains, pictures behind glass will reflect more light.
