How can I make my pot and pan cabinet more user friendly?
I am getting older...bending and almost crawling into my cabinet to secure the needed pot or pan is more difficult. Is there an easier way?

Hi Bet I feel your pain. Although these are not inexpensive one cabinet at a time to me was worth not have to bend over to try to find that pan that always seems to be in the back behind everything else :)

Good luck!!
Oh dear, I hear you! Well I have the same problem. What I did was measure the opening and bought cookie sheets or jelly roll pans with a lip that was closest to the opening of the cupboard. Then I piled all the pots and pans on the cookie sheet like a "drawer" and just pull the cookie sheet out with one hand and grab my pot or pan and lid, then slide it back in. So much better than getting down on my hands and knees every single time! My friends and I came up with this solution after my first back surgery and has worked out reasonably well ever since. Hope it works out for you too.
We hang our skillets so it's a simple reach to get them. Our pots and pans now go on a shelf under our wood block table in the kitchen.
