How can you repair gouged wooden floor from the bottom of a folding chair that did not have a rubber stopper on its leg? (Large scratches)

  • I would use wood filler that is stainable. Match the shade using a stain pen.

Minwax stain pens for surface scratches. Minwax Blend Fil Pencils for deep scratches. Minwax wood putty for deeper scratches. Come in all stain colors.

Kimberly,. Try wood filler, then when it's completely dry sand it so it's even, and try to find a stain that matches. You may want to try Old English stain. They have two stains, one light and one dark. I use this on my cheap little kitchen table, when the wood starts to wear. Aloha!
