It's easier if the bark has a chance to dry out. Then use a chisel and hammer.
A chisel will remove it.
A straight draw shave it but you want but since it's not a tool most people have try a drill with a brush on it (but know that it's still alot of work). My method is let it sit a year and it will losen and perhaps fall off on it's own lol.
Thanks! It has sat for over a year. I have used a chisel/hammer for hours. Barely a change. The slab is almost a yard wide.....10-12 inches thick!
