How do I build a floor stand for charging station for electronics ie: cell phones iPads? In need of ideas & plans.

We have ours in a 2 drawer file cabinet. Top drawer has all the labeled cords for the various phones, tablets. Bottom drawer holds phone books, pens, pencils, paper, rulers, erasers, etc.
I built on a few years back which is a counter one, which I am sure can be adapted into a stand up box.
