You've changed the lighting and watering schedule and humidity. Need to research the plants needs and adjust. It happens to all of us.
They need the right lighting, and need to be fertilized during the growing season. Do you re pot them once you get them home?
Before you buy the next plant, you need to make sure you've selected a plant that you can accommodate. So, make sure to read the tag before a purchase to see how much light it needs and can you provide that? is it one that needs a lot of humidity and, if you live in Arizona, that's probably not going to be a plant for you unless you humidify the air frequently. Do you have pets and, if so, is the plant you select going to be dangerous for them? If the tag you are looking at doesn't provide you with any other information than the name of the plant, then go on a computer search for that name and read up on it. There are also indications that plants will put off that indicate it's had to much water, not enough water, too much fertilizer or not enough fertilizer, etc. Read up on the internet about your plant and find out what you need to do to keep it happy and green. Also, start out with a easy plant. A spathiphyllum or peace lily is a very easy plant to grow. It needs very little light but will do fine in the middle of a room where there is no direct sun but it does get light. You know when to water it because it gets droopy. If you water it too much, it turns yellow and gets droopy. When watering, put it in the sink in a pot that will drain off the excess water and water until the water flows out of the bottom. Then, put the pot on a tray to keep your furniture or floor from getting wet. It will bloom large white flowers soon, if it wasn't flowering when you bought it. And, have fun!!
Give it bloom boaster every 2 weeks
