Caring for Christmas Cactus
I have a shaded window where mine sits and it loves it. It dropped blooms and I was told not to water. Get a pot larger than the one it’s planted in. Fill bottom (I did about 3 inches) with big gravel, shells or something like that. Just cover shells/rocks with water (larger pot). Sit the smaller pot inside. The cactus likes moisture but not like water, so it uses what it needs from evaporation. Occasionally I will put an ice cube into the pot if it looks dry or droopy. Once you find a place it likes,,, don’t move it except to rotate occasionally :)
