How to get rid of gnats?

I have some nat's in our house, I feel it's due to some plant's we have in our home, my husband found where you put a small container of Apple Cider Vinegar with a drop or two of dawn dish soap. What else would you recommend?

Lori, I have used flying insect spray directly on the plant soil with lots of success. It does not harm the plant but you need to be aware of children or pets. Read the label for warnings.
I had a terrible gnat problem and the vinegar traps worked perfectly! Simply place a few tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or white vinegar, a few drops of dish soap, and a tablespoon of sugar in a bowl and stir. Set your bowl in an area where gnats are prevalent, such as your kitchen or bathroom. This took care of my problem in just a couple of days!
