A knife?
Wedge a screwdriver in it, will pop right out.
The tip of a knife like Dee suggests or a small screwdriver like Naomie suggests. It will work but may take a few tries with the pressure of the water holding it down.
Try prying the stopper out using a flat headed screw driver and some WD40 as you make headway.
