How do I no-sew cover 2 pieces of foam, 72 inches x 22 x 3?
I have 2 pieces of foam I want cover with an indoor /outdoor upholstery material. I don't have a sewing machine, so need to be able to use Velcro or something similar. Or fabric glue? People will be sitting and leaning on and against these pieces as they will be used to add height to a bench. The foam is high density. My biggest concerns are making the corners tidy and not bulky, as well as keeping the material securely in place. Thanks for any help!

My vote is to use Velcro and washable fabric glue to attach the heavy duty Velcro. Wrap it sort of like a present, so the Velcro is underneath the cushion and not be seen. I will find something and come back and post.
these two rattan chairs are covered in small fleece blankets (four for $3 each) they are on a screened/roofed in summertime use porch. In winter all the furniture here gets securely covered and battened down. I simply basted these covers on with large stitches, since I did not want to make "proper" covers for the chairs. I don't know if basting would work on indoor/outdoor fabric which is probably more difficult to sew on. These covers have lasted two years.
you can get iron on fusible tape at a sewing store it works ok.
In another post this morning the person used upholstery grade hot glue in a couch. I would think that would work great for your project.
Thanks! I love this idea, too!
