How can I redo my floors without porcelain or laminate?
I am looking for a way to do my floors without using porcelien tile or laminate flooring. Any ideas?Thank you

Have you thought about the luxury vinyl tiles? They are very durable and more waterproof than most laminate and you can get the ones that snap together and do it yourself. It only takes about three cheap tools.
Depends on the room. Hardwood flooring, carpets, vinyl sheet goods, peel & stick vinyl squares, or paints are a few options.
Carpet tiles. Or plywood. Cut plywood to the same width 4- 6 or 8 inches. Apply with construction adhesive and paint or stain. Inexpensive and easy to do.
if they are in decent shape, you can paint them. if you don't want a solid color you can stencil the floor.
IMHO...paint is a very cool way to go until the big decision later on. Just be sure to use poly after painting. I have seen patterns painted..or a rug “ look “..👏
