How can I update an ugly kitchen tile floor?




My new house has ugly mauve kitchen tile. Too expensive to rip out. What can I do to update it?

you can get a kit to paint over the tile, and a colored grout sealant's couple of companies make them
Would lightening the grout help? You can buy paint pens especially meant for this. :)
Change out the grout to a dark grey.
I have seen the wood look floors applied over this tile. there is a very thin layer of something you lay over this for the spaces. The wood floor ( I think is laminate) goes over thid underlayment for perfect floor
