How do we add shade to our patio?
We lost all our tees due to hurricane Michael. Any ideas for shade for our patios? All the big potted plants are starting to burn from the Florida sun. Too big to bring them into the small house.

Not a help now, but if you have to repot anything, put a sponge in the bottom of the pot. Sister in law kept roses blooming all summer with this trick!
As a temporary measure, buy a portable gazebo or EZ Up. Big Lots is already selling them.
Installing sturdy posts in concrete footers or large pots weighted with concrete on your patio perimeter, with "S" hooks on the house will provide you with attachment points for shade sails. You could build a pergola or shade structure, at more cost.
