How do I get ink from a gel pen out of carpet?
I have beige short ‘shag’ carpet. The dog chewed a gel pen, the ink has stained the carpet in two areas about 3 inch diameter circle areas. Thanks
Saturate a towel with warm water, not hot, press lightly down on the spot and let it soak in to soften the ice Cream and wash up using carpet stain remover like Resolve.
Warm water, baking soda and a bit of Downy should remove the stain. Blot and let sit for a few minutes to soften and then dab clean. If there is any baking soda residue it can be vacuumed up.
Wash with soap and water
Sponge with cold water and blot dry.
