I'd like to add crown molding to my stock bathroom cabinet to hide the Paper Towel holder, but don't know how to attach it.

You probably don't want crown molding, it attaches at an angle. I think you just need wall trim like base or door trim that goes on straight. There should be a small lip or overhang under your cabinet. You could push it behind that and glue and nail it.
Crown molding is normally attached to the wall with a nail gun. If you nail with a hammer, you will want to get a punch so that you can nail it in completely without damaging the wood.
