How to get a flagpole to stand out?

We have a flagpole in our yard and are looking for ideas on what we could put around it to make it stand out?

You could make a circular planter and a nice large sized mulch in between plants. That would be colorful and look nice and neat at the same time. If you want something that takes less care again large mulch with rocks decorating the area. You could feature whatever rocks are local to your area.

Hi Kathy. I'm Cindy. I would plant flowers around your flag pole. Use plants that are red, white, and blue. Plant these same plants around your mail box or in pots on your porch. This will give a uniform look. Good luck Kathy.
Oh, that will be so nice. The idea of red, white and blue is excellent. Geraniums are easy to grow and are available in red.
