You have many options. Take a plain box and then you can paint, cover with contact paper, mod podge and add material, buy a box of "kids" valentines and paste all over the box, pick up Valentine Day supplies at Dollar Tree and hot glue on to the box. You are only limited by your imagination.

You can make a Vlentine box out of almost any cantainer. I ahve covered shoe boxes, cereal boxes, oatmeal canisters, and coffee cans. Cut a hole big enough for cards to fit through. Cover with wrapping paper or plain white paper and decorate with stickers, markers, ribbon, or construction paper. One year my sons made robot boxes using coffee cans and foil. Check Pinterst under Valentine boxes for school for lots of ideas.
Decorate a shoe box with paper, glitter, and stickers!
Look on Pinterest with your child and find one they like. I made one with my grandson last year and believe me, i would never have dreamed of making the one he picked. But we made it and he loved it.
