How to convert an entertainment center?
We have a nice, solid wood entertainment center that we no longer use. We tried to sell the piece, but most of the well-known websites are flooded with unwanted entertainment centers.
Would welcome any DIY suggestions!

My sister-in-law made her entertainment center into a sewing / ironing station
You could convert it into a home office station. You could also convert it into a clothing armoire using a curtain bar from the hardware store. Hang the bar inside the large part where the TV went.
Paint it to update it and match your decor.
You could donate it to Habitat for Humanity. If worse comes to worse, hack it up into smaller pieces to toss into the trash. Believe me, I'd rather see it reused, but sometimes one just has to get it gone!
