Hi Regis, unfortunately I don't have a answer to your problem, as I have the same one, except they are under my deck. If you get any good suggestions, please let me know.

    Thanks

The fox are there to eat mice, the raccoons & skunks for the shelter or if there are things to eat(grains or bugs that eat grains) they are nocturnal bright light at night under shed and noise deter them settling in or can get them to leave if already settled in-heavy duty wire mesh(smaller the gauge the better) fencing dug down into ground 2-3ft deep around outside of shed and nailed up on lower part of the outside wall of shed this will keep anything from digging under, rocks do nothing they dig around them turning them over to get to bugs and make dens-skunks are burrowing animals. Mice & rats set spring loaded traps & kill them or live trap them and remove them to really far away location.Live trap DIY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChpMSrBbn3I poison it not good because you don't know where animal goes to die; it stinks really bad if under shed and if you have pets or even local natural animals(hawks, owls, snakes) they could get rodents either while still alive or after they die and will get also get poisoned. Sticky traps not good either they take long time to die just lying there thrashing around until they die from dehydration - cruel - unless you kill them. Can you get to area under shed? make sure you clear out any debris, leaves, material, sticks that is/could be nesting materials before you install wire mesh around base of shed. Use steel wool & foam insulation in any-all holes to plug them so mice cannot reenter shed all around electric wiring high or low any openings. try to keep everything off of the flooring if you have table legs put them in lrg pickle jars so the mice cannot climb up onto the tables. this will help limit their routes access to anything up higher. easier to catch them. look for dark greasy looking rub marks on walls or flooring openings this is their travel routes. their fur leaves oil and dirt gets trapped on it darkening area. set the traps there. use peanut butter as trap bait. You could always get a nice big rat snake for under shed to kill the mice

Lynn offered you worthwhile information. I would add that placing large quantities of scented dryer sheets in the shed and under the hood of equipment should deter mice from nesting there and chewing on wiring&. Any vehicles stored there should have dryer sheets under hood, in trunk, in interior, and beneath vehicle (wheel wells, etc.).

Keep grains, bird seed, pet foods, grass seed in tightly secured, air tight canisters where lids cannot be pried off and container cannot be chewed through.

If you don't locate entry points and make corrective actions, the situation will recur, perhaps with more critters.

If you're seeing skunks and raccoons in daytime, they could be rabid. Best to call animal control.

If you can get your shed mounted atop treated lumber or a concrete pad, it would help your situation.

We redid our floor in the shed with pavers. Took all the. Wood out, lay down gravel, sand pavers and motor mix on top til cracks are filled and wet down. Just like cement, that was like 20 years ago and the shed is down but the floor remains. Our new little sitting area.

You might want to try putting sulphur around the shed. I had a shed at my previous home and I could smell what I think was possums. They never got into the shed just nested under it. Also, you can buy fox urine and sprinkle around. I don't think it smells bad to us but to critters it does.

    Hope this works.

I would place pavers around the outside of the shed so there is nowhere to begin digging. Follow up by replacing wood floor with pavers if needed.
