great for bird feeder/house doesn't rot and has natural bug repelling qualities
Cedar wood is good because it repels fleas. (That is why dog chips for dog houses often come in cedar chips) Sometimes birds get fleas and this helps to prevent the babies being over run by them. They scamper away from cedar containers of all sorts! They also do not rot or deteriorate as other wood might.
