My flowers are mostly the kind that are native to the region, but good ones for bees are honeysuckle (I have bushes, not vines), salvia, altria, lilies of all colors and types, rose of sharon bushes, etc. They take time to mature, but you'll find them covered in bees in the spring, especially. While the roses attract bees, not with the traffic of the others. I also have the white clematis that blooms in late summer and it is always covered in honeybees.
At my house they love the roses and any red flower. They also LOVE onions and chives and I always grow extra and let them go to seed. Pineapple sage is a favorite too. Here is a sites with common flowers that attract bees.

In the spring we let our dandelions bloom all they like for the bees first food in spring. We do not spray them at all. Annual flowers bloom heartily all summer so they are the best for bees to have food all through the season. Anything that blooms and multiplies will help such as petunias. They are very hearty and spread like a weed. Also be sure if you plant annuals you make sure the nursery where you buy does not spray them for bugs, as it kills the bees too! Ask the nursery and ask friends for good recommendations.
Rosemary, lavender, sages, chives, nasturtiums, mints, alyssum all have drawn in the honey bees into my yard as well as Passion flower and honeysuckle. Most plants that attract hummingbirds will also attract other pollinators. Also, I use no herbicides or insecticides.
