That looks like sedum. When you go to your local nursery, take this picture with you and ask about the needed growing conditions for your area. In my yard, I have sedum growing in the ground year round.

This is a pretty common plant called Sedum, you should have little trouble replacing it. Either contact your local nursery or seed catalogues have lots of this. Best to you.
Did the one you had have a woody stalk or was it a low growing plant? If it had a woody stalk it could be a Jade Plant or as the others have said its a sedum.
It is a variety of Sedum there are many kinds so as another suggested take picture with you if you want exact same variety. They flower different colors
Could be Crassula.
Great succulent can just take cuttings stick in ground or pot and will take off. Best yet hardy and drought tolerant.
It is a sedum known as "live forever".☺
