The condensation will wick into the wood that’s under the cladding & rot it. Then we’re talking No Cheap Options with rotted wood. As in you can’t put this off.
If you don’t have dual pane, gas filled windows, then it’s time to either get custom storm windows or replace them, a few at a time. They are replaceable.
If your condensation is on the inside the room on the bottom and where it locks together it might be high humidity in the room if you have double pane and it is between the glass the seals where you can not wipe it off are damaged. My window company put something called chimney blocks on my double pane windows in the upper and lower side tracks where there was air that was probably leaking in and it has been good so far? or a lot better. Only had moisture at bottom and where it locks when you closed them. I do not know what you have for windows or what they look like?

The condensation is in between the window panes.
I had a large window done few years ago, the company put small holes in the corners to release the condensation. Is that the cheapest way to go?
This link covers it all

The seal has failed and the inert gas, Argon has leaked out. The repair you had done removes the condensation but won't last unless they also pumped in inert gas. Also the energy efficiency of the window has failed even with the repair. I don't know of the cost and if that is cheaper than replacing the glass panels. Ace Hardware does sell double pane glass panels and also install. If you don't care about the window efficiency then do the repair.
