I have a small kitchen with little cabinet space . What I did was make a wall pantry. I used an area on my wall , that was about 30 inches wide. You can use this idea and adjust it to any size . I just made shelves using plumbing pipe , you can choose gray or black metal or copper , and the black or grey pipes can be spray painted any color. Get these items at home depot or Lowes . For each shelf you will need a piece of wood ( stores like home depot or Lowes will cut wood to the length you need for free ) you will need 2 pieces of pipe , the length should be equal to the width of your wood. , 2 flanges , and 2 pipe caps . To make your shelves attach the flanges to the wall , into the studs , make sure they are level !!! Then screw the pipe into them , then screw the caps on and lay the wood across the top !
I have my spices and herbs in small bottles and I put the bottles in a storage box and they sit on my kitchen bench.
Living now in a motorhome, 29 foot but I put mine in the freezer door. Works great for me.
I bought this spice cube from Bed, Bath, & Beyond to corral my spices. I has been one of the best choices I have made for my kitchen. https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/product/youcopia-reg-spicestack-reg-chef-39-s-edition-30-bottle-cabinet-spice-rack/1042785866?keyword=spice-rack-organizer
I saw a post on this site about adhering magnets to spice jars and putting them on the side of the refrigerator.
