How do we protect our solar lights?
We keep our garden solar lights outside all year round , through all seasonal conditions . After a year or so , the solar panel part gets hazy or cloudy looking . The light will still work , but gives off a duller light . Does anyone know if there is a way to prevent this from happening , an oil or conditioner I can apply when I first buy the lights ? Or a way to clean Them ?

You can use the same tricks you can use on headlights. White toothpaste or headlight cleaner. Nothing ever worked for me, just what happens to plastic from age or exposure. I just bought new.
Mine are out year round too. Just spend a bit of time cleaning them and they will be ready to go. Here is how!

Clean the solar panel with a dab of white toothpaste on a damp cloth. Wipe clean and use some paste wax to protect them.
Rubbing paste style toothpaste on the plastic appears to rehab the plastic.
If the parts that get cloudy-looking are made out of plastic, there is no way to restore them to brand new. Unfortunately, many plastics will naturally discolor when exposed to light and to other weather conditions.
I don't know either, but an curious to see what others suggest. I've had that same problem too.
