How to remove tea stains from a deep stainless travel cup?
The cup is tall and narrow- Brill and elbow grease will get the top half but is ineffective at getting the bottom half and bottom- any suggestions as to a "magic potion" on how to get coffee stains out of a mug and how to get tea stains out of a mug?

Use a bottle brush and soft scrub
You can soak it in lemon juice or bleach.
I add bleach to my pan I use to make tea. Let it sit for about an hour and rinse and wash as usual.
Liquid or dry dishwasher soap, put a small amount in cup with hot water, let sit overnight and rinse well. I’ve used this with my husbands thermos for years!
Fill mug about halfway with warm or hot water. Add 1-2 denture cleaning tablets and leave it to foam up for about 30 minutes with the cap off the mug. Rinse well.
use bleach water and let it sit for about five minutes. Also Mr Clean magic erasers works great.
use denture cleaning tablets. I have use them on my thermos that had coffee stains and it cleaned it very nicely!
Sprinkle with baking soda. Add white vinegar. Sit in the sun for a few days. I do not use bleach for any food or beverage items or in the kitchen at all. Bleach can be horribly toxic. I once had a co worker who became extremely ill because she was convinced she needed to clean everything with bleach. Luckily the doctors were smart enough to test her and ask the right questions. She even put bleach in her coffee maker.
Denture cleaning tablets are the way to go, and to keep safe.
A teaspoon of bleach and a teaspoon of white vinegar and a teaspoon of baking soda. Little hot water

Let bleach soak in it for awhile then wash and rinse. I do this to keep my hubby’s thermos clean.
Add baking soda to hot water, mix or shake up well. Let it stand and wash well, the stain will come right out. I’ve done this for years with my husbands work thermos and my tea cups. Easy peasy.
