How to maintain a lawn mower?

This might be a little off topic but I recently bought a used lawn mower without manual and am looking for tips about how to maintain it such as how to change oil and how often and what type of oil to use, how long can I let gas sit in the mower and should I add fuel stabilizers to the gas, and anything else needed for lawn mower maintenance. Thank you.

General tip is never let your gas sit in the lawn mower over a couple of weeks, drain completely at the end of the season. Use 100% pure gas (no ethynol) will help to save your carburetor and other parts. We rinse our blades off after each use. Specific information re: maintenance can be obtained from a dealer or online. Also, we always change the oil at the beginning of the season before first use.
We buy it at jet pep. Rural areas and near marinas carry it more often. Pure-gas.org can help you locate a station.

You can buy cans of ethynol-free fuel at the big box stores, but it is expensive.
