How do I get the mirror off the wall?
I have a huge mirror above my bathroom sink that has to be broken or any other idea u have! I can get a flat metal ruler behind in certain places but it won’t move. I’m not superstitious or anything but any way to get it off the wall would be appreciated. Thanks for your help!Lyn HintonLyn5462@yahoo.com

Remove a Bathroom Mirror
I have removed one in the past using thick fishing line to loosen the tape at the back of the mirror. But that was only a small mirror. Here is a link that may help you.

This is how I've seen all the contractors I've known remove them..... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Br9ECH35wY if you have the type of light fixture where the bulbs hang down over the mirror, remove the shades and bulbs first. And if there is a plug cut into the mirror, remove the plug cover first. Have a trash can handy to remove the glass should it break, and cover the floor and counter, toliet with heavy cardboard.
Hi. I suggest wearing goggles and gloves as well while doing this.
Get a putty knife put it on the side slide it behind it and lift it by the corner loosen all along the ends first
I watched a DIY show where they used clear contact paper to cover the mirror, then broke it up with a hammer. They were then able to pry it off and the contact paper held the broken pieces. They did wear safety glasses and gloves, too and were able to use a box cutter to cut small sections away as they pried. Others have used masking tape all over the mirror, but I think the contact paper would hold the broken glass better.
